Take notice that application is being made by: Brunswick Developments Group Plc
To Brighton and Hove City Council City Council for planning permission for the following: ‘Amendment to planning permission for mixed use development BH2006/01124 (as amended) to allow revisions to
basement structures over Spending Beach and West Quay and associated landscaping and engineering works to accommodate revised car parking layout. Total number of car parking spaces and main access
point to remain unchanged’
Any owner of the land or tenant who wishes to make representations about this application, should write to Development Control Team, City Services Directorate, Brighton & Hove City Council,

Take notice that an application under section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act (1990) is being made by: Brunswick Developments Group Plc
To Brighton and Hove City Council City Council for planning permission for the following: ‘Variation of condition 70 of planning permission ref. no. BH2006/01124 for the construction of basement
structure and associated engineering works, 853 flats in 11 buildings from 6 to 40 storeys above deck level, Class A, D1, D2 and B1 uses, lifeboat station, 491 parking spaces, 32 motorcycle spaces
and 876 bicycle spaces, alterations to access arrangements and pontoons and creation of moorings navigation piles. Construction of foot and cycle bridges between West Quay and eastern breakwater
and Madeira Drive and western breakwater, landscaping and public realm works, solar panels, wind and tidal turbines and engineering and structural works and alterations to Marina and adjoining land
associated with above.
And approval of amended drawings including the following changes;
1. Change of ground & first floor accommodation including the following:
• Removal of the harbour control offices, which are to remain in their current location; • An increase in retail use of 605sq.m. • Relocation of surface level RNLI parking to basement; • Additional
stairs between basement and podium for RNLI and car park users other than residents; • Removal of dedicated loading bay; • Relocation of plant rooms and cycle storage to basement; • Reconfiguration
of residential entrance lobbies; and • Introduction of residential use on the first floor – see below
2. Changes to residential use:
• Removal of additional escape stair to F2 following fire engineered means of escape strategy; • Removal of secondary lifts to southern and northern cores of F1; and • Some residential layout
changes are proposed in order that the overall number of residential units would remain as consented.
