Notice of Audit

In pursuance of a notice received by me from KPMG LLP, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE THAT:-

(1) The said auditor has arranged for the audit of the accounts for the year ended 31st March 2012 of Wiltshire Probation Trust and of their officers and any committee appointed by the said Trust Board.

(2) For a period of 20 full working days commencing on 3rd May 2012 any person may inspect at Rothermere, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 (Monday to Thursday) and 09.00 to 16.30 (Friday) the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto, and may make copies of all or any part of the accounts and said documents.

(3) From Wednesday 6th June 2012, any local government electors for the Swindon and Wiltshire areas may make objections to the auditor as to:
(i) any item of account which is alleged to be contrary to law,
(ii) any alleged loss of deficiency, or
(iii) any matter in respect of which the auditor could make a report in the public interest.

An objection under (3) above must be sent to the auditor in writing. At the same time as the objection is sent to the auditor, a copy of the objection must be sent to me at the address below.

(4) The audited accounts will be published in the Annual Report which will be available in July 2012.
