COUNCIL SEEKS INDEPENDENT PANEL MEMBER

Swindon Borough Council is looking for someone to join an existing Independent Remuneration Panel to help set the level of allowances that are paid to Borough Councillors each year. The Panel is also involved in setting the level of allowances that are paid to Parish and Town Councillors in Swindon.

Appointments to the Panel will be for a period of three years. The time commitment required should be no more than 18 hours in any year. An allowance of £200 per year plus travelling and subsistence expenses will be payable to the successful applicant.
