VACANT ALMSHOUSE AT 1 GURNEY COURT, ODIHAM

The Trustees of the Charities GIVE NOTICE that they will shortly elect a person to occupy an almshouse, at 1 Gurney Court. The vacant almshouse has one bedroom and is suitable for a single person. The almshouse site comprises 26 houses, with a resident warden. This is an elderly community and the Trustees invite applications from suitable persons resident in the parish of Odiham and North Warnborough who are in need. The application forms should be returned to Stacey Lyon at the above address by Wednesday 25 July 2012. Information given on the application forms must show name, address, age and occupation of the applicant(s) and include sufficient personal and financial information together with other evidence to demonstrate that applicants qualify for the appointment.

Note: In special cases (to be approved by the Charity Commissioners) persons who do not possess the prescribed residential qualifications may be appointed if otherwise qualified. Short listed candidates may be interviewed.
