NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
George & Harding Group Pension Scheme
This notice is addressed to former employees of the following companies:
George & Harding Construction Ltd George & Harding Dorchester Ltd George & Harding Support Services Ltd George & Harding Joinery Ltd A S Prince & Co Ltd E W Kingsbury Ltd
The George and Harding Group Pension Scheme (the "Scheme") has commenced the process of winding-up.
If you were or are an employee of one of the above companies, and a member of the Scheme, and think you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme but have not been contacted in respect of those benefits, or you are a spouse, civil partner, child or dependant of a deceased member, please contact in writing the Trustees of the Scheme c/o Chris Roberts, Dalriada Trustees Limited (telephone 0141 331 9979) by no later than 24 October 2012. You should include details of your current address and any benefits you think you are entitled to.
The Trustees shall after that date convey or distribute the Scheme assets to or amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims of which the Trustees have had written notice before that date. The Trustees shall not have any liability to any person if they have not received notice of his or her claim before 24 October 2012 and they will not be liable to pay benefits to you.
If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received an announcement from the Trustees regarding the winding-up, you do not need to write to the Trustees as they already have full details about your entitlements.
