The auditors of

West Rainton and Leamside Parish Council

have issued a report under Section 11 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 for the years ended 31 March 2011 and 2012. In accordance with the provisions of the Act a public meeting is to be held to discuss the issues raised in the report. The public meeting will be held on 18th October 2012 at Jubilee Hall West Rainton at 7.00 p.m. The issues raised to be discussed are: 1) Internal audit reporting and effectiveness 2) Budgeting 3) Tendering procedures for the Cycle hub project 4) Payment approvals and budgeting for the Cycle Trax Feasability project.
