Council of Governors Election

Notice is hereby given that elections will be held for the Council of Governors of Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Elections are to be held for the following number of governors in the following Constituencies and Classes:
Constituency and Class
Public Constituency - Purbeck, East Dorset, Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole - Number of Seats 2
Public Constituency - South Somerset/Out of Area - Number of Seats 1
Public Constituency - West Dorset - Number of Seats 2
Public Constituency - Weymouth & Portland - Number of Seats 1
Staff Constituency - Number of Seats 3

To stand for election you must be a member of Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation
Trust within the Constituency and Class for which you wish to stand as a candidate. If you
do not know which Constituency or Class you are in, please contact the Returning Officer at the address below.

Nomination papers must be returned by post only to the Returning Officer at the above address to arrive no later than 5.00pm on Monday, 8th April 2013. Please do not return nomination papers to the Trust offices.
Notice of withdrawal of candidates must be given to the Returning Officer in writing by 5.00pm on Thursday, 11th April 2013 at the address given for delivery of nomination forms. In the event of a contested election, ballot papers will be posted to qualifying members. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Returning Officer no later than the close of poll at 5.00pm on Friday, 17th May 2013.
