FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL OPERATORS OF MARKETS, CAR BOOT SALES, CRAFT FAIRS, ANTIQUE FAIRS, COLLECTORS FAIRS AND FAIRS. Persons/organisations intending to operate a Car Boot Sale, Craft Fair, Antique Fair in the Richmond area should be aware that they require the permission of the Richmond Town Council to hold any such sales or fairs. Richmond Town Council is the Charter Market Authority and has the right to control all sales, fairs and markets within a distance if six and two thirds miles radius of Richmond. The following areas are included with the prescribed distance: Aske, Aldbrough St John, Arrathorne, Barden, Barton, Bellerby, Bolton on Swale, Brompton on Swale, Catterick Bridge, Catterick Garrison, Catterick Village, Colburn, Constable Burton, Dalton, Downholme, Easby, East Hauxwell, East Layton, Gayles, Gilling West, Hackforth, Hartforth, Hipswell, Hudswell, Hunton, Kirby Hill, Marrick, Marske, Melsonby, Middleton Tyas, Moulton, Ravensworth, Richmond, Newsham, Scorton, Scotch Corner, Scotton, Skeeby, Skelton, Stainton, St. Martins, Tunstall, Uckerby, West Layton, Whashton.
