The County Council of Durham (B1285 Dalton Park, Murton) (Temporary Prohibition of Left Turn) Order 2023

The Council on 25/1/23 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit left turns for all vehicular traffic from B1285 eastbound onto A19 northbound slip road, Dalton Park, Murton to enable tree removal and road widening works to be undertaken. Alternative route from western side of the restriction via B1285 south to and around A182 / A19 roundabout and returning north on B1285 and straight over to B1285 onto A19 northbound slip road. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence after 30/1/23 and are anticipated to be required for 1 week within the following month between 9.30am and 3.30pm per day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
