Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of West Monkton Temporary Closure of School Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along School Road - from the junction with Milton Hill, eastwards for a total distance of 409 metres. This Order will enable Milestone Infrastructure to carry out resurfacing works.

The Order becomes effective on 9th February 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 13th February 2023 and last until 14th February 2023 between the hours of 07:00 -18:30 for a total of 2 days. Please visit
