ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below

HASELBURY ROAD AND CENTRAL AVENUE N9

Reason for 14(1) Order –Essential utility works

Operational Dates:

11 February 2023 for 9 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to suspend parking " at any time" on Haselbury Road between Nos.243 and 253 and on Central Avenue between No. 21 and No. 31 and between Nos.22 and 32.

LITTLE BURY STREET N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2023 for 5 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to close Little Bury Street at its junction with Church Street N9. While the road is closed the diversion route would be via Church Street, N9, Blakesware Gardens, N9, Little Bury Street, N9 and vice versa

LIGHTCLIFFE ROAD N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2023 for 5 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to close Lightcliffe Road at its junction with Hazelwood Lane, and to suspend parking " at any time" on both sides of Lightcliffe Road from its junction with Hazelwood Lane to outside No. 14 Lightcliffe Road While Lightcliffe Road is closed the diversion route would be via Hazelwood Lane, Kingsley Road, Park Avenue and Green Lanes N13.

ALDERMANS HILL N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates 13 February 2023, for 3 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to partially close Aldermans Hill N13 from a point in line with the western flank wall of No.11 Aldermans Hill , While the closure is in place the diversion route would be via

• Green Lanes N13,Bourne Hill, the Bourne High Street N14 Cannon Hill and Aldermans Hill; or







• Green Lanes A406, Wilmer Way, Powys Lane and Aldermans Hill.

SOUTHBURY ROAD EN1

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas works

Operational Dates 13 February 2023, for 2 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to suspend parking " at any time" outside Nos.152 to 174 and outside Nos.185 to 211.

PRINCES AVENUE N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas Works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2023, for 5 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to suspend parking " at any time" on Princes Avenue between Nos. 33 and 39 and Nos. 36 and 42, and to temporarily suspend the disabled persons parking bay outside No. 39, and relocate to outside No. 49 for the duration of the works.

SILVER STREET EN1

Reason for 14(1) Order – essential utility works

Operational Dates: 13 February for 3 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to partially close Silver Street EN1 from outside No 17 to its junction with The Town EN1. The diversion route would be via Silver Street, Baker Street, Parsonage Lane Chase Side, Church Street and The Town.

ENFIELD ROAD – SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS. 49 - 111

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas works

Operational Dates:13 February 2023 for 7 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to close the service road fronting Nos. 49 to 111 at the eastern access with its junction with Enfield Road outside No. 49. While the service road is closed traffic would enter and exit the service road via the western access point.

BRETTENHAM ROAD N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – UKPN – electricity works

Operational Dates: 13 February 2023 for 1 month or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to suspend parking " at any time" on both sides of the road on Brettenham Road from outside Craig Park Youth centre to the junction with Baxter Road, and on the northern arm of Brettenham Road from the junction with Baxter Road to outside No. 60.

THE BOURNE AND BOURNE HILL N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – resurfacing works

Operational Dates: 13 February 2023 for 5 nights or until works are completed.

General effect of the Order would to suspend parking " at any time" on both sides of the road’s and close The Bourne between Queen Elizabeth Drive and Fox Lane, and Bourne Hill from between Fox Lane and No. 110 Bourne Hill, while these roads are closed the diversion route would be via

• Southagte Circus, High St N14, The Green N14, Cannon Hill, Aldermans Hill N13, Green Lanes N13 and Bourne Hill N13; or







• Green Lanes N13, Aldermans Hill N13, Cannon Hill, The Green N14, High St N14 and Southagte Circus.

GREEN LANES AND COMPTON ROAD N21

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates: 14 February 2023 for 2 days or until the works are completed.

General effect of the Order would be to close the northbound cycle lane on Green Lanes between Nos. 701 and 757, suspend parking, waiting and loading between Nos. 736 and 770, and between 763 and 765 Green Lanes and suspend parking on Compton Road outside Nos 1-12.

While the cycle lane is closed cyclists would be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to cycle

PARSONAGE LANE AND CHASE SIDE EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames water works

Operational Dates: 14 February 2023 for 4 days or until the works are complete.

General effect of the Order would be to close Parsonage Lane between the junction with Nunn’s Road and Chase Side and Suspend parking, " at any time" on both sides of the road between Parsonage Lane and Chase Side Avenue.
