TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE -
OLD ACRE ROAD, ALTON, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Old Acre Road between its junction with Mount Pleasant Road and its junction with Tower Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Tower Street, Butts Road, Mount Pleasant Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 14th February 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Not with standing, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days between the hours 07:00 -16:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
