SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY
ROAD CLOSURES
Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make the following temporary orders:
(STR000554 HUGHES STREET, SWINDON) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Hughes Street between Rodbourne Road and Morrison Street. Alternative Route - via Rodbourne Road, Summer Street, Morrison Street and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on the 13 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 13 February 2023 from 8am to 5pm.
(STR000555 LINSLADE STREET) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Linslade Street between Rodbourne Road and Deburgh Street. Alternative Route - via Guppy Street, Jennings Street, Groves Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into the force on the 10 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 10 February for 1 day only.
(STR000556 MONTAGU STREET) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Mantagu Street between Jennings Street and Morris Street. Alternative Route - via Morris Street, Rose Street, Hughes Street and vice versa
The Order comes into the force on the 15 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 15 February for 2 days.
(STR000557 MORRIS STREET) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Morris Street from the junction with Morrison Street for the entire length to the recreational ground. Alternative Route - via Morrison Street, Jennings Street, Montagu Street and vice versa The Order comes into the force on the 9 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 9 February 2023 between the times of 8am and 5pm.
(STR000558 MORRISON STREET) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Morrison Street between Morris Street and Jennings Street. Alternative Route - via Jennings Street, Rodbourne Road, Hughes Street and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on the 10 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 10 February 2023 between the times of 8am and 5pm.
(STR000559 LORNE STREET) This Order is being introduced for highway construction works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Lorne Street between Cambria Place and Maxwell Street. Alternative Route - via Cambria Bridge Road, Faringdon Road, Maxwell Street and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on the 8 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 8 February 2023 between the times of 8am to 5pm. Note - Access for residents affected by the above closures to be maintained where possible.
(STR000521 SAMBRE ROAD, CHISELDON) This Order is being introduced for Openreach works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Sambre Road from the junction with Aisne Road extending east along Sambre Road for a distance of 215 metres. The Order comes into the force on the 23 February 2023 for 6 months but it is anticipated works will take place on the 23 February and 6 March 2023.
