Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2023 Westmoreland Street And Eldon Street Back Street, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close:
WESTMORELAND STREET AND ELDON STREET BACK STREET From its junction with North Road West Back westwards to the western boundary of 77 Eldon Street

An alternative route will be signed via North Road West Back, Eldon Street and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow sewer repairs on behalf of Northumbrian Water Ltd.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 6th February 2023, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
