The County Council of Durham (Unclassified 23.3 Broken Way, St Johns Chapel) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023

The Council on 20/1/23 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular trafficfrom proceeding on 20 metres of Unclassified 23.3 Broken Way, St Johns Chapel from front of number 19 Burnfoot in an easterly direction to the front of number 18 Burnfoot to enable telecom works to be undertaken. Alternative route from west side of closure in a westerly direction on Unclassified 23.3 Broken Way then in an easterly direction on A689 Hood Street and northerly on Unclassified 23.3 to eastern end of closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 31/1/23 from 9.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
