Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Avondale Road, Shipley Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Avondale Road, Shipley has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Avondale Road from its junction with Bradford Road to a point outside No. 2 Avondale Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Avondale Road (unaffected section), Moorhead Lane, Bingley Road, Bradford Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect at 09:00 hours on the 31st January 2023 and remain in force until 15:00 hours on the 31st January 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
