The A1(M) Motorway (Junction 60) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in County Durham, to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Thursday 23 February 2023 over 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the A1(M) northbound carriageway between exit and entry slip roads at Junction 60 (Bradbury), a distance of 750 metres; during the closure a suitably signed alternative route will be available at all times. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
