Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) Parish Of Haydon Public Footpath Number 13 (Emergency Public Footpath Closure) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Haydon Public Footpath No 13, in the County of Northumberland. The route is described as follows: From the junction with Public Footpath No 12, 440 metres south of Harsondale Farm in a general northerly direction for a distance of 360 metres crossing the Harsondale Burn to a point north of Harsondale Cleugh, 210 metres south of Harsondale Farm.

There is no alternative route available. The Order is effective from the 1 st February 2023 and will remain in force until 1 st August 2023. Further enquiries should be made to Tim Fish, Area Countryside Officer by email to

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council, Neighbourhood Services in the interests of public safety due to the unsafe condition and replacement of the footbridge crossing the Harsondale Burn. Dated this 26th day of January 2023.
