Essex, Various Temporary Road Closures

(Old Road/Anchor Road, Clacton on Sea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Castle Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Anchor Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 12th February 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (MG0188276/BT/STM/DL - O2 (UK) Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mast testing works are undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited.

An alternative route is available via Old Road, Pier Avenue, Rosemary Road West and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Queensway, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queensway, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Frinton Road to its junction with Kings Parade a distance of approximately 570m (closure will be in sections). The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th February 2023 for 60 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001191331 - Cadent).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Kings Parade, Kings Avenue, Frinton Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
