Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A350 (Part), Westbury; from its junction with A3098 to its junction with Laverton Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via C398 - A3098 - Mane Way - Oldfield Road - B3097 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route HGV via A350 (unaffected length - A36 - A361 - C234 -C227 - A363 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 January 2023 and the closure will be required weekdays only: 30 January 2023 - 31 January 2023 between the hours of 19:00-06:00; 01 February 2023 - 02 February 2023, 24 hours per day, commencing at 07.00; 03 February 2023 - 15 February 2023 between the hours of 19:00-06:00. B) Bradford Road (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Limpley Stoke Road to outside property known as No.148 Bradford Road, Winsley to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation work to connect networks and associated works. Alternative route via C391 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 January 2023 and the closure will be required until 10 February 2023. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that on 18 January 2023 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and Order 1 under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2018 by revoking Map Schedule No. EI21 dated 21 May 2018 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No. EI21 dated 30 January 2023 the effect of which will be to introduce No waiting at any time on Whitehill, Bradford on Avon - east side - from a point 68 metres south of its junction with Mount Pleasant for a distance of 16.5 metres in a southerly direction. Order 2 - To introduce a Prohibition of Entry (except pedal cycles), prohibiting vehicles entering Whitehill, Bradford on Avon from Mount Pleasant. Following a decision from the Cabinet Member for Transport, Waste, Street Scene and Flooding amendments have been made to the waiting restrictions previously advertised on Whitehill, Bradford on Avon. A copy of the Orders and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 30 January 2023.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County Of Wiltshire (Bradford Road, Church Street And Coronation Road, Atworth) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to amend The County of Wilts (Built Up Areas) Order 1936 by the deletion of Schedule No.2 (12.) Atworth - The Atworth-Bradford on Avon (unclassified) road, for a length of 250 yards southwards from its junction with road A365 near the Clock Tower and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Bradford Road, Atworth - from its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 114 metres south of its junction with Church Street; Church Street, Atworth - from its junction with Bradford Road for a distance of 83 metres in a south westerly direction; Coronation Road, Atworth - the complete length. Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Melksham and Melksham Without Consolidation Order 2021 by revoking Map Schedule No. EG36 dated 5th April 2021 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No. EG36 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on North Western Access Road off Portal Road, Melksham Without - both sides - from its junction with Portal Road for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction; North Eastern Access Road off Portal Road, Melksham Without - both sides - from its junction with Portal Road for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction.
