Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70417, The Dean Road, Bishopswood, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70417, The Dean Road, Bishopswood, between the B4234 and Atlas Farm. Grid Ref: 359537 / 218406. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Starve Beech Hill onto Varnister Road onto Crookened End Place onto High Street onto Cats Hill and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.
