NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U70213, Pontshill Marsh Road, Pontshill, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70213, Pontshill Marsh Road, Pontshill, for the length of Pontshill Marsh Road. Grid Ref: 363894 / 222084. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1275 onto the A40 onto the C1277 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 10 days.
