Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1221 From B4347 To Cayo Farm, Ewyas Harold, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1221 From B4347 To Cayo Farm, Ewyas Harold, from Elm Dale to the Fire Station. Grid Ref: 339559 / 228481. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4347 onto the A465 onto the C1212 onto the C1221 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to private foul drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
