(Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.7) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chelmsford City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an agreement dated 31 March 2011 (and subsequently varied by Deed of Variation on 15 June 2011 and 27 July 2012) has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers.

Effect of the Order: All measurements are approximate and are taken from the extended kerb line unless stated otherwise.

1. To revoke all parking restrictions on the following length of road in Fitch's Crescent, Maldon in the District of Maldon and replace with the following:

Further details:
Following comments received during the formal consultation, the proposed 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on Princes Road, Maldon have been abandoned. Additionally, the proposed lengths of 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions have been abandoned opposite numbers 2-7, 18-26 and 30-36 Park Drive, Maldon, with the remaining Order to be made as advertised.

Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
