Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U93627, West Street, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93627, West Street, Leominster, from the junction of High Street to the junction of the B4361. Grid Ref: 349520/258996. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via South Street onto the B4361.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing and drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
