Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U81100, Huntington Lane, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U81100, Huntington Lane, Hereford, approximately 20 metres south of Hutington Court Farm, then southwards for approximately another 120 metres. Grid Ref: 348392/241680. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Huntington Lane onto Three Elms Road, onto Kings Acre Road, onto Huntington Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to a badger sett. The said closure will come into force on 20th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the closure is expected to be removed within 7 months.
