Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70230, Woodend Lane, Linton Ross On Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the useby vehicles on the U70230, Woodend Lane, Linton Ross On Wye, Woodend Lane. Grid Ref: 366587/225155. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Sargents Lane onto Sparrows Lane onto Cut Throat Lane onto Burton Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
