Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C2 (Part), Ashton Keynes; from its junction with C70 for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out HV cable installation and associated works. Alternative route via C2 (unaffected length) - B4696 - The Derry and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 February 2023 and the closure will be required until 20 February 2023. B) C70 (Part), Ashton Keynes; from its junction with High Road to its junction with Rixon Gate to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out HV cabling installation and associated works. Alternative route Rixon Gate - Kent End - Harris Road - Eastfield - Park Place - High Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 February 2023 and the closure will be required until 03 March 2023. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
