Reason: Lay new ducting by Airband. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access and to allow the works to be undertaken. Proposed Order: to close that part of A4104 Station Road from its junction with B4083 Wyre Road to its junction with U47100 Racecourse Road. Reason: New water connection by Amey Plc. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4104 Station Road, A4104 Terrace to close that part of A4104 Station Road from its junction with B4083 Wyre Road to its junction with U47100 Racecourse Road.

(Footpath PS-501(part), Pershore)(Temporary Closure) Order 2021

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on July 2021 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath PS-501(part), Pershore between OS Grid References SO 949476 and SO 946480, which was due to expire on 31 January 2023 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 31 July 2023 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of Secretary of State for the Department Transport  State.
The Order has been made due to works associated with a housing development being undertaken on the land crossed by the right of way.
