Notice Under Article 15(3) Of Application For Planning Permission Accompanied By An Environmental Statement
Proposed development at: Former Gasworks Swandon Way, Calor Gas Unit 9 and 10 Delta Business Park Smugglers Way and Land West of the River Wandle The Causeway, London, SW18.
I give notice that SGN MITHERAGE LTD is applying to Wandsworth Borough Council for planning permission to undertake the following development, and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement:
APPLICATION REFERENCE: 2022/3954
PROPOSAL: Hybrid planning application (part Outline, part Detailed) for the demolition of all existing buildings and structures on site and a phased development comprising the construction of buildings across four development plots to include up to 646 dwellings with affordable housing (Use Class C3 (Residential) and Use Class C2 (Residential Institutions)); up to 4,555sqm of non-residential floorspace; with associated works.
Detailed planning permission for the construction of Building A1 (part 10, part 30 storeys high, plus roof level plant equipment) to accommodate 184 dwellings (Class C3) and 756sqm of retail, food and drink floorspace (Class E); Construction of Building B (Including 3 storey podium and 3 x 16 storey buildings plus basement and roof level plant equipment) to accommodate 224 senior living dwellings (Use Classes C2/ C3) with 1,919sqm of ancillary communal floorspace, 2,806sqm of restaurant, cinema, workspace and retail floorspace (Classes E, B8 and Sui Generis); change of use of the existing railway arches to accommodate 498sqm of retail, food and drink, workspace and live music venue floorspace (Classes E and Sui Generis) including associated elevational changes; provision of vehicular access, cycle and car parking; energy centre; public realm works and landscaping; works to the River Wandle including riverside walk; associated infrastructure; and site preparation works.
Outline planning permission for two development plots; Building A2 of up to 12 storeys, including up to 88 dwellings (Class C3) and 330sqm of non-residential floorspaces (Classes E and F2); Building A3 of up to 12 storeys, including up to 150 dwellings (Class C3) and 165sqm of commercial floorspace (Class E). Access, Appearance, Landscaping, Layout, and Scale are Reserved Matters.
An Environmental Statement has been submitted with the application under The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017
