Works to the Cobb, Lyme Regis

Dorset Council Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management team will be undertaking works to stabilise The Cobb and provide protection for Lyme Regis Harbour from future storm events.

These works will include improvements to the pavement surface in keeping with the current built environment, updates to the fish landing quay to aid commercial fishing businesses with a new surface as well as improvements to the services and utilities.
The works will be undertaken starting mid-summer 2024 and will take approximately 6 months to complete.

We aim to minimise the disruption to the area during the work, but some areas of The Cobb may need to be closed to the public for short periods, due to Health and Safety reasons.
