The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. F5) Order 20-
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. F6) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 16 Addiscombe, Croydon, No. 4 Aylett Road, South Norwood, No. 154 Buller Road, Thornton Heath, No. 4 Elmgrove Road, Croydon, No. 102 Harrington Road, South Norwood, No. 2A Kidderminster Road, Croydon, No. 13 Nugent Road. South Norwood, No. 34 Orchard Rise, Croydon, Nos. 14-24 Purley Road, South Croydon, and Grafton House, Roke Close, Kenley.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

2 A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Bensham Lane. Thornton Heath
Temporary Restriction Of Parking & Pedestrian Traffic

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new service on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian traffic and parking in Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in Bensham Lane between its junctions with Brigstock Road and Haslemere Road.

b) The north-eastern footway of Bensham Lane will be closed outside Nos. 364 and 366 Bensham Lane.

3. Whilst the footway closure is in place the alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 31 January 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 February 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict parking in Copse View and Farnborough Avenue South Croydon and in Palace Green, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this notice on the dates specified.

3. The Order will come into operation on 30 January 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out as detailed in the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) Any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) Any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Orchard Rise, Croydon

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telegraph pole replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Orchard Rise.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Orchard Rise will be closed outside No.35 Orchard Rise.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 01 February 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Kenley Lane & Welcomes Road. Kenley Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to alleviate flooding and modernise the junction, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Kenley Lane and Welcomes Road, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, both Welcomes Road and the north to south arm of Kenley Lane will be closed at their junctions with Valley Road and the north-west to south-east arm of Kenley Lane.

3. During the closures, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be via Kenley Lane, Park Road, Hayes Lane, Welcomes Road and vice versa, or via Valley Road, Church Road, Kenley Lane and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 January 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 09 March 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
