Temporary Closure of Public Footpath S34/19, Ringstead
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Footpath S34/19, Ringstead, from grid reference SY 752 813 to grid reference SY 754 814 a distance of approximately 170 metres.
The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users.
It came into operation on the 27 January 2023 for a period of 26 weeks. However can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. This closure is required to allow works to take place on the caravan site.
The alternative route will go via Fishers Place, Right of Way S33/6, Right of Way S34/19 and vice versa.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. When the Order comes into operation on 6 February 2023 the effect of the Order is to introduce new no waiting restrictions along Butt Farm Close, Winterbourne Abbas.

4. Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order
Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257
Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Section 53A(2)
Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 144, Weymouth at Tollerdown Road) Public Path Diversion Order 2023
The above order was made on 13 January 2023, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the order will be to divert part of Footpath 144, Weymouth as shown on the order map as follows:
From the current route: From its junction with the adopted path south of Tollerdown Road at SY 65957877 south to SY 6595378759 then south east to the unaffected part of Footpath 144, Weymouth at SY 6595978757. Width 1 metre minimum.
To the new route: From its junction with the adopted path north west of the Lanehouse General Practice Surgery From its junction with the adopted path north west of the Lanehouse General Practice Surgery at SY 65917875 generally east via SY 65927875 and continuing generally east to its junction with the unaffected part of Footpath 144, Weymouth at SY 6595978757. Width 2 metres apart from between SY 65917875 and SY 65927875 where the width will be 1.4 metres between the surgery boundary and the fence line of the culvert.
A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies are also available on our website at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/row-orders.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Andy Hughes, Definitive Map Team, Spatial Planning, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ (Ref: RW/P242), or via email to andy.hughes@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk, not later than 23 February 2023. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Any letters received will be made available for public inspection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dorset Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Chickerell Road, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13 February 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 February 2023.
This Order will enable The Electricity Network Company Limited, safe access to supply new cable to new housing estate.
The effect of this Order will be;
[1] To impose a temporary clearway on Chickerell Road between its junction with Hardy Avenue and 166 Chickerell Road to prevent all vehicles from stopping.
