TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A272 WINCHESTER ROAD, PETERSFIELD, EAST HAMPSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A272 Winchester Road between its junction with Stocks Lane and a point 600 metres East.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A272, A3, A325, A31, A32, A272
DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th February 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days between the hours 09:00 16:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
