Broomhill Road – Banned Right Turn The Redbridge (Prescribed Routes) (No. *) Traffic Order 2023


1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above-mentioned Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.


2. The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Broomhill Road in a south-westerly direction to turn right on reaching its junction with The Terrace. 3. Copies of the proposed Order, together with a plan of the area and the Councils Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order, along with more detailed particulars of the scheme may be inspected between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Wednesdays), until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NN. 4. Any person wishing to object or make representations on the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Interim Operational Director – Highways, Parking and Transportation, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1NY quoting reference quoting reference CP/TE/SA-AA/BR by no later than 17 February 2023. Provision Of Speed Humps the Terrace and Broadmead Road (Between Broomhill Road And Charteris Road)


1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct two kerb-to-kerb flat-top speed humps at the following locations :- (a) The Terrace, 39.0 metres north-west of the junction with Blueberry Close; (b) Broadmead Road, 12.0 metres north-west of the junction with Vernon Avenue. 2. The kerb-to-kerb speed humps would be of flat top design, not more than 75 millimetres at its highest point with an overall length of 10.5 metres. The kerb-to-kerb speed hump would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.


3. A copy of the plan showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays (9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Wednesdays) at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY. 4. Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposals should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 2nd Floor Front, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY quoting reference CP/TE/SA-AA/BR by no later than 16 February 2023.
