The North Ayshire Council Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 The North Ayrshire Council (Townhead Close, Largs) Stopping up Order 2022

North Ayrshire Council hereby give notice that or 16th January 2023 in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Paragraph 7 of Schedule 16 to the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 have confirmed without modification the above Order stopping up Townhead Close, Largs.

Townhead Close, Largs will be stopped up and closed to all traffic to enable development to be carried out and a new access road to be formed in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the said Act. A copy of the Order as confirmed and relevant plans have been deposited at Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE where they are available for inspection by any person free of charge during office hours or at

The Order as confirmed comes into operation on 25th January 2023 being the date on which this Order is first publicised but a person aggrieved by the Order may in accordance with the provisions in Section 238 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, by application to the Court of Session within six weeks from that date, question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by Part IX of the said Act or that his interests have been substantially prejudiced by a failure to comply with any requirement of the said Part IX or any regulations made thereunder.
