Effect of the Order:
1. To revoke the existing 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the following length of road, in the Parish of Halstead in the District of Braintree as specified:
Road Description
High Street, NORTH WEST SIDE: From a point Halstead approximately 1 metre south west of the north east building boundary of property No.58/56 High Street, in a south westerly direction for an approximate distance of 4.8 metres
2. To extend 'No Stopping Except Buses' 'Bus Cage' restrictions on the following length of road, in the Parish of Halstead in the District of Braintree as specified:
Road Description
High Street, NORTH WEST SIDE: From a point Halstead approximately 1 metre south west of the (Bus Stop Area) south west building boundary of property No.58/56 High Street Coining the existing No Stopping Except Buses restriction) in a north easterly direction for an approximate distance of 4.8 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition Of Waiting, Loading And Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tiles: TL810 305 Revision 1 to Revision 2. (Church Road, Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Polecat Road to both of its junctions with Temple Lane a distance of approximately 1670m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT009-E-TYEGRN - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while excavation for laying fibre works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Polecat Road, Witham Road, Temple Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Collins Road, Oak Road, Twinstead Road, Catley Cross, Sudbury Road and vice versa, The Order will come into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Halstead Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 115m south east of its junction with Goldingtons Farm Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03161544467/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

1. To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with King Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of King Street, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Queen Street for a distance of approximately 65m in a westerly then northerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 19th February 2023 for 1 day (followed by 26th February 2023 for 1 day, 5th March 2023 for 1 day and finally 12th February 2023 for 1 day) (4 Sundays only), or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWDJFR50B007 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Bayley Street, Pye Corner, Nunnery Street, Crouch Green, Yeldham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Limes, Gosfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Limes, Gosfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m south east of its junction with Nuns Meadow for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2023 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (M8001CX-1504-01 - Indigo Power Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Indigo Power Ltd.
