THE SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.4) ORDER 2023
PTO1034 - Phase 2 - Shoeburyness Junction Protections
Southend-on-Sea City Council on 20 January 2023 made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended) proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended):

1. The general effects of the Orders will be:
To introduce junction protection; no waiting at any time (double yellow lines) AND no loading or unloading at any time (double yellow kerb blips) at each of the locations in below:

(a) Blackgate Service Road with its additional junction
(b) Bray Court with Churchfields
(c) Caversham Avenue with Churchfields and the additiona junction with Caversham Avenue
(d) Chertsey Close with Sonning Way
(e) Churchfields with the additional junction with Churchfields
(f) Collingwood Way with Frobisher Way
(g) Dachets Drive with Churchfields
(h) Jackdaw Close with additional junctions of Jackdaw Close
(i) Kingston Avenue with Churchfields and the additiona junctions of Kingston Avenue
(j) Milbanke Close with Collingwood Way
(k) Montgomery Court with Mountbatten Drive
(l) Newell Avenue with Peel Avenue
(m) Picasso Way with the additional junctions with Picasso Way
(n) Puffin Place with Mallards
(o) Raphael Drive and each additional junctions with Raphael Drive
(p) Rubens Close with Hogarth Drive
(q) Sandpiper Close with additional junction with Sandpiper Close
(r) Sharnbrook with Ravendale Way
(s) Sunbury Court with Churchfields
(t) The Drakes with Frobisher Way and the additional junctions
of The Drakes (u) Vermeer Crescent with Hogarth Drive (v) Weybridge Walk with Ravendale Way
2. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 January 2023 and all relevant documents can also be viewed online at

until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
3. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
4. A copy of each of the made Orders and all relevant documents can be inspected on the Ground Floor of the Civic Centre (address below) during normal office hours.
