TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

Notice Is hereby given that on the 17th January 2023 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the following Traffic Regulation Order In accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come Into force on 19th January 2023.

THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES, CHESTER) (NEW MARKET CAR PARK VARIATION) ORDER 2022

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a charge for parking (One hour - £3.50, One to two hours - £5.00, Two to four hours - £6.50, Four to five hours - £9.50 and Over Five hours - £13.50)
In addition, the Order will enable the Council to a) enforce incorrect parking in disabled persons' bays and b) those who park outside of the bay markings.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or to any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instruments made under it have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of 19th January 2023 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
