Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Bridgewater St, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023
Notice is hereby given
that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bridgewater St from its jct. with Eagle Brow to its jct. with Boat Stage. The Order will be effective from 6th February 2023 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Eagle Brow, Brookfield Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to install new water connections. Ref: High/2429

Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Bridge Foot (Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2023

The effect of which is to introduce a footway closure on Bridge Foot (northern footway) from its jct. with Barbauld St to its jct. with Bridge St. The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2023 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Barbauld St, Friars Gate, Bridge St & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to replace a link box. Ref: High/2423

Walton Rd passageway rear of 46 to 54 & Chapel Ln passageway rear of 4 to 14 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Walton Rd passageway rear of 46 to 54 for its entire length; Chapel Ln passageway rear of 4 to 14 for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 30th January 2023 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs. Ref: High/2424

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The Borough of Warrington (Bridge St) (Prohibition of Left Turn & Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given
that the Council made an order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 18th January 2023. The effect of which is as follows: -

1) To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding in a southerly direction on Bridge St from making a left hand turn onto Academy Way, except for Buses, Taxis & Pedal Cycles; 2) To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding in a northerly direction on Bridge St from making a right hand turn onto Academy Way, except for Buses, Taxis & Pedal Cycles. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 18th January 2023, apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Borough of Warrington (Alder Root Ln) (30 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given
that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on Alder Root Ln from its jct. with Alder Ln to the Borough Boundary with St. Helens Borough Council. Ref: Net/1595

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 50) Order 2023 Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -

1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of: No waiting at any time: Westbrook Centre (east to west section) (North Side) - Between its jct. with Westbrook Cres & its jct. with the north to south section of Westbrook Centre; Westbrook Centre (east to west section) (South Side) - From its jct. with the north to south section of Westbrook Centre & a point 100m north east of its jct. with Westbrook Crescent; Westbrook Centre (east to west section) (South Side) - From its jct. with Westbrook Cres for a distance of 50m in a north easterly direction; Westbrook Centre (north to south section) (West Side) -From its jct. with Westbrook Cres for a distance of 20m in a northerly direction; Westbrook Centre (north to south section) (West Side) - From a point 44m south of the centre line of the east to west section of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 20.7m in a southerly direction; Westbrook Centre (north to south section) (West Side) - From the centre line of the east to west section of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 15.1m in a southerly direction; Westbrook Centre (north to south section) (West Side) - From the centre line of the east to west section of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 126.6m in a north easterly direction; Westbrook Centre (north to south section) (East Side) - For its entire length.

(b) In the 71st Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading at any time: Westbrook Centre (section running east from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/ Blackshaw Dr) (South Side) - From its jct. with Westbrook Cres for a distance of 50m in a north easterly direction; Westbrook Centre (section running north from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Garwood Cl) (West Side) - From its jct. with Westbrook Cres for a distance of 20m in a northerly direction; Westbrook Centre (section running north from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Garwood Cl) (West Side) - From a point 44m south of the centerline of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 20.7m in a southerly direction; Westbrook Centre (section running north from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Garwood Cl) (West Side) - From the centre line of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 15.1m in a southerly direction; Westbrook Centre (section running north from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Garwood Cl) (West Side) - From the centerline of Westbrook Centre for a distance of 126.6m in a north easterly direction; Westbrook Centre (section running north from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Garwood Cl) (East Side) - For its entire length; Westbrook Centre (section running east from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Blackshaw Dr) (North Side) - Between its jct. with Westbrook Cres & its jct. with Westbrook Centre; Westbrook Centre (section running east from roundabout with Westbrook Cres/Blackshaw Dr) (South Side) - From its jct. with Westbrook Centre in a westerly direction to a point 100m north east of its jct. with Westbrook Cres.
