St. Helens Borough Council The Council Of The Borough Of St. Helens
(Wargrave Road 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that St. Helens Borough Council In exercise of its powers under Sections 84(1) and (2) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the aforesaid Act, proposes to make an Order, the effect of which will be as described in the Schedule below.

From the Borough Boundary with Warrington, in a northerly direction, for a distance of 135 metres.

A copy of the Order, may be requested from the council by emailing

or by writing to the Traffic Engineering Section, Place Services Department, Town Hall, Corporation Street, St Helens WA10 1 HP.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed speed limit changes, must do so in writing to the undersigned, stating the grounds of objection, within a period of 21 days from the date of this notice.
