London Borough Of Sutton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -

The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new single Traders Permit operating in Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) and Permit Parking Areas (PPA) across the borough.

The Traders Permit will provide those traders with a verified need for providing services to residents, undertaken in the resident's home, the facility to park in areas where there are resident permit parking controls for up to two hours.
The Traders Permit, applied for by the trader, will not be transferable across vehicles. It will allow the trader to park in any resident permit bay, shared use bay or within a PPA during their controlled hours, for up to two hours, when displayed with the associated traders permit disc set to the time the parking period has begun.
3. A Traders Permit costs are £200 per year which are renewed annually

4. There would be a £25 administrative charge for any alteration to a permit. Note: To make a minor administrative change to the Order.

5. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plan showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.
