The County Council of Durham (Stadium Way, (C42/A688 Link Road) St Helen Auckland, Bishop Auckland) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023

The Council on 11/1/23 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 100 metres of Stadium Way, C42/A688 Link Road that extends northwards from A688 to the roundabout with Manor Road, St Helen Auckland to enable new electrical repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of the closure from A688 easterly to Fylands Drive roundabout then north westerly to Tindale Crescent lights, south westerly on C42 to the junction with Stadium Way to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 18/1/23 between the hours of 8pm and 6am for the duration of the works anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
