Parsonage Lane And Churchbury Lane EN1 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential works on Parsonage Lane EN1, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Parsonage Lane and Churchbury Lane EN1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2023 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on;

(i) Parsonage Lane EN1, between its junctions with Baker Street and Willow Road;

(ii) Churchbury Lane, the north side, at its junction Parsonage Lane to its junction with Churchury Close; and

(iii) Churchbury Lane, the south side, at its junction Parsonage Lane to a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 52/54 as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions will come into operation on 25 January 2023 and will continue in force for 3 nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. or until works are completed. Access will be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route will be via;

Northbound: Willow Road, Carterhatch Lane and Baker Street. Southbound: Willow Road, Southbury Road, Genotin Road, London Road and Silver Street.
