The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Parking And Waiting Restrictions) (The Coverdales) Amendment No. 96 Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6,45,46,49,51 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act') and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act made the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the No waiting at any time restrictions at the following locations:
a. The Coverdales west to east arm, south-east side, from a point 5.4 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road for a distance of 32 metres in a north-easterly direction.
b. The Coverdales west to east arm, north-west side, from a point 5.4 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road for a distance of 47.5 metres in a north-easterly direction.
c. The Coverdales west to east arm, north and west side, from a point 99 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in an easterly and northerly direction for 10.5 metres.
d. The Coverdales west to east arm, south and east side, from a point 105.5 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in an easterly and northerly direction for 8.4 metres
e. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, both sides, from its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 6.2 metres in a north-westerly direction.
f. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, south-west side, from a point 5.5 metres north-west of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 10.12 metres in a south-easterly direction.
g. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 5.5 metres south-east of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 35.6 metres in a south-easterly direction.
h. Dovehouse Mead fronting Nos. 20 to 28 Dovehouse Mead, north-west side, from a point 4.8 metres south-west of its north-eastern kerbline for a distance of 5.5 metres in a south-westerly direction.
2. Revoke the Disabled Badge Holders Only bays at the following locations:
a. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 31.3 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 3.3 metres in a north-westerly direction.
b. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 56.5 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 7 metres in a north-westerly direction
3. Revoke the Permit Holders Only Zone GE Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm and Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8.30am-9pm 1 hr no return within 2hrs bays at the following locations:
a. The Coverdales west to east arm, south-east side, from a point 40 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 22 metres.
b. The Coverdales west to east arm, south-east side, from a point 70 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 6.5 metres.
c. The Coverdales west to east arm, south-east side, from a point 79 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 26 metres.
d. The Coverdales west to east arm, north-west side, from a point 53 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 24.5 metres.
e. The Coverdales west to east arm, north-west side, from a point 81 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 17 metres.
f. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 6.2 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 24 metres in a north-westerly direction.
g. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 34.6 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 17.8 metres in a north-westerly direction.
h. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, south-west side, from a point 40 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 9.3 metres in a north-westerly direction.
i. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 8 to 13 and 14 to 19 The Coverdales, south-west side, from a point 52 metres north-west of its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 5.5 metres in a north-westerly direction.
j. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 5.5 metres south-east of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 10.8 metres in a north-westerly direction.
k. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, north-east side, from a point 41.1 metres south-east of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 5.8 metres in a south-easterly direction.
I. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, south-west side, from a point 4.8 metres south-east of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 9.8 metres in a south-easterly direction.
m. The Coverdales adjacent to Nos. 2 to 7 and 20 to 25 The Coverdales, south-west side, from a point 17.2 metres south-east of the northern property boundary of Anderson House for a distance of 24.6 metres in a south-easterly direction.
n. The Coverdales southern arm, south-east side, from its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for its entire extent.
o. The Coverdales southern arm, north-east side, from its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 18.9 metres in a south-easterly direction.
p. Dovehouse Mead fronting Nos. 20 to 28 Dovehouse Mead, both sides, from its junction with Dovehouse Mead for its entire extent.
4. Revoke the Keep Clear markings at the following locations:
a. The Coverdales west to east arm, south-east side, from a point 62 metres north-east of its junction with Gascoigne Road in a north-easterly direction for 8 metres.
b. The Coverdales southern arm, north-east side, from a point 20.2 metres south-east its junction with The Coverdales west to east arm for a distance of 3.6 metres in a south-easterly direction.
A copy of the Order, which will come into force on Thursday 19 January 2023, and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order are available to view for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published on the Councils website by visiting the following web page
and selecting 'New and proposed traffic and parking schemes'.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on
the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Act, or that any requirement
of the Act or any Regulations under it have not been complied with may do
so within six weeks of the made date of the Order by applying to the High Court.
