NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to introduce prohibitions on motorcycles entering or proceeding in Chancery Lane, Beckenham between its junctions with Limes Road and Wickham Road & also Bromley Road, and in Clarence Road, Bickley, between its junctions with Page Heath Lane, Beaconsfield Road, The Avenue and Southlands Grove, The prohibitions would operate at any time.

Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be made available by emailing

during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/ T100/733 not later than 8* February 2023.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
