Temporary Restriction To Use of Road Order 2023

On the 6 January 2023 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Penrith Avenue, Giffnock, between properties nos. 3 & 9, in order to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Water sewer mains repairs within or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Monday 6 February until Thursday 16 February 2023.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency
vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
