Notice pursuant to Schedule 3 of the making of an Article 4 Direction
Planning Control Over Demolition Of Exchange House, 180-182 St Marys Lane, Upminster
The Council of the London Borough of Havering made an Article 4 (1) Direction on 4th August 2022, which was confirmed on 5th January 2023, under Article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015. The Direction relates to development comprising any building operation consisting of the demolition of a building, and removes permitted development rights for this type of development from the date when the Direction comes into force. Planning permission will therefore be required to demolish the building at the relevant site.
The Article 4 Direction (Reference Art4/5/2022) applies to the following site:
Exchange House, 180-182 St Marys Lane, Upminster, RM13 3BT

The Article 4 Direction came into force immediately and was confirmed by the Council on 5th January 2023
