Wiltshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C155 (Part), Lacock; from its junction with Forest Lane for a distance of approximately 180m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out supply separation in carriageway and associated works.
Alternative route via C155 (unaffected length) - A350 - A4 - A342 - C155 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2023 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600.
B) Church Street (Part), Southwick; from its junction with A361 to outside property known as No.18, Church Street, Southwick to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer and associated works.
Alternative route via Church Street (unaffected length) - C234 - A361 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 06 February 2023 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600.
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
C) C395 (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its roundabout junction with Semington Road.
D) Portal Road, Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its roundabout junction with Westinghouse Way to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks and associated works on Hampton Park roundabout, Melksham Without.
Alternative route A via A350 - Semington Road and vice versa. Alternative route B via C400 - A365 - A350 and vice versa.
This Order which previously came into operation on 01 December 2022 will now recommence on 19 January 2023 and the closures will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 on weeknights until 24 January 2023.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
