6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation at 8am on Thursday 26th January 2023 with the works anticipated to be completed at 4pm on Friday 27th January 2023. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(Church Place And Love Lane. CR4) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer cleaning works in Church Place and Love Lane, CR4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in:-
(i) Church Place,
(ii) Love Lane, between its junction with Church Place and its junction with Frimley Gardens; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in the said roads or lengths of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Church Road, Miles Road and Frimley Gardens or vice-versa.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into force at on Friday 27th January 2023 and it is expected that the works would be completed that day. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

(Church Walk. Sw16! (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate ducting works and blockage clearance in Church Walk, SW16, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Church Walk.
2. During the worksite) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in
Church Walk, from its junction with Rowan Road, north-eastward for a distance of 25 metres; or (b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using St Olave's Walk, Stanford Way and Rowan Road or vice^versa.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

(Thornton Road. SW19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate service pipe works in Thornton Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Thornton Road, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Ridgway south-eastward for a distance of 27 metres; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph (a) above; or
(c) enter or proceed in the south-western footway of Thornton Road from a point 3 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ridgway south-eastward to a point 27 metres south-east of the said kerb-line.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed:-
(a) south-eastbound via Ridgway, Denmark Road and St John's Road; or
(b) north-westbound via St John's Road, Murray Road and Ridgway.
7. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent the footway closure would be maintained at all times.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 8th February 2023 and the works are anticipated to be completed on 10th February 2023. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(Home Park Road. SW19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate building works at No. 85 Home Park Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Home Park Road, the south-east side, between the common boundary of Nos. 83 and 85 Home Park Road and the common boundary of Nos. 85 and 87 Home Park Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 16 January 2023 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 December 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that time should the works be delayed or further works required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (As Amended)
London Borough Of Merton (Weir Road. Wimbledon) Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2023 Street Cleaning And Line Marking
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable street cleaning and line marking works to be undertaken in Weir Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to restrict parking in WEIR ROAD.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any unauthorised vehicle to wait, including for the purposed of loading or unloading any vehicle, in any length of Weir Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such an extent as indicated by the placing of prescribed signs.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(b) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come in operation on Sunday 22nd January 2023 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out on 22nd and 29th January 2023. On Sunday 22nd January 2023 works would be carried out on the west side of Weir Road on a rolling basis with parking permitted on the east side of Weir Road. On Sunday 29th January 2023 works would be carried out on the east side of Weir Road on a rolling basis with parking permitted on the west side of Weir Road. The Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 18 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that time should further works be required.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer works in Home Park Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Home Park Road, between the north-west boundary of No. 30 Home Park Road and a point 5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 26 and 28 Home Park Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Dora Road, Leopold Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue, or vice-versa.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
